A rapidly growing Southern California distribution company is looking for experienced Warehouse Person for their operation in Lynwood.  The Company was founded in 2016 and will be serving California’s legal cannabis industry.  The Warehouse Person will be responsible to oversee the safe, accurate, timely and efficient receipt and shipping of all products.   This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
 
Job Duties
 
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
  • Comply with State and local warehousing and shipping requirements
  • Safeguard warehouse contents and operations by following security protocols
  • Track and report on deliveries as they are shipped and received
  • Oversee that all work performed is accomplished in a safe manner
  • Notify the Warehouse Manager of any descrepancies or irregularities
  • Understand and embrace the Company customer service culture
  • Maintain a working knowledge of each product and the industry marketplace.
 
Requirements 
 
  • Previous experience in the cannabis industry is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working in the delivery or logistics industry
  • 3+ years Inventory management experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience working with inventory software and ERP systems
  • Detail oriented – great attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office programs (MS Word & Excel)
  • Ability to build strong team relationships
 
Salary and Benefits
 
  • Hourly - $15 - $18 (depending on experience)
