Technical Maintenance Supervisor – Plastic Packaging

Your role in the organization:
As the Technical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for owning the equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and OEE efforts of the department. You will lead a team and be instrumental in optimizing machine uptime, preventative maintenance programs, and support equipment and machine upgrades . Using your continuous improvement mentality and expertise in problem solving, you will enhance production process capabilities - uptime, yield, scrap, quality and more. This is a very impactful role and we need an expert in identifying and implementing proven solutions, hands on and not afraid to turn a wrench, as well as a leader who can be hands on with training and driving change among the team. This role will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager of a large, 400 person facility that is continuing to grow.
To be successful in this role:
· Technical degree in Engineering or similar ideal – Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, etc.
· 5+ years in a strong mechanical and maintenance role, hands on
· Plastics manufacturing experience ideal - Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Thermoforming, etc.
· Automation or high speed assembly experience
· Experience with LEAN Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma
· Experience in hands on training and implementation
