Here's an excellent Supply Chain Manager position with a global foods company! Paid relocation!
Supply Chain Manager -- $115-125,000 -- excellent benefits - seeking experience with foods, chemical or consumer products
Global foods manufacturer has a need for a Supply Chain Manager due to a retirement
This is a key role within the organization and will manage a team of 4 Supervisors, 2 Planners, 3 Buyers and 50 material handlers
Must be US Citizen or green card. Sponsorship is not available
Position reports to the Plant Manager
Requirements for the Supply Chain Manager:
Bachelors degree is required,
BS/BA should be in a related field such as Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or similar. MBA or Masters is preferred
10+ years of experience managing a team a supply chain and warehouse operations.
Experience with foods, chemical, or consumer products manufacturer with a strong emphasis on quality to the customer is required.
Project management experience is preferred with experience in leading and implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kanban, and Kaizen systems.
Must have strong systems experience, ideally with WMS, AS400, SAP, JD Edwards, MS office and similar systems
Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager
:
Supervise, manage, mentor, coach and develop a supply chain and warehousing team
Strategically manage and improve KPI’s and metrics through coaching and implementing lean pricniples, 5S, Kanban and Kaizen events
Manage relationships with suppliers to support shipping and receiving operations.
Foster positive working relationships. Respond proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints and other employee relations matters.
Provide training, equipment, and guidance to warehouse personnel.
Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and warehouse organization
Maintain, upgrade and suggest improvements with ERP and WMS systems
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Compensation for the Supply Chain Manager:
$115-125,000 plus excellent benefits, paid relocation and future opportunity
