Production Supervisor

We are looking for a motivational Production Supervisor. Someone who cares about the associates they lead, and someone who understands the manufacturing production process. Someone who has been successful meeting production schedules, working with associates in all departments to solve issues and move forward. We also need someone who is looking for ways to improve the process and keep the line running. We are a manufacturer of nutritional ingredients, therefore if you have experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing facility that manufactures nutritional products, or food products and you meet the following criteria, please apply.

What you can bring to the company:
  • 3-5 years of production supervisor experience in the nutritional, food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
  • Experience with processes such as: batching, mixing, grinding and packaging.
  • Experience managing production lines, production schedules, and working with production timelines.
  • Ability to train new employees in the company policies and safety procedures.
  • Experience following and enforcing SOP's (standard operating procedures) and GMP's for manufacturing.
  • Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing experience a must. 
  • Knowledge of batching, mixing, grinding and packaging products in a manufacturing facility.
  • Suggest ways to improve production, and quality of products.
  • Clearly understands how to motive employees in a positive environment.
  • Ability to work with R&D, Quality and Plant Manager and keep everyone informed of production schedule and changes.
  • Must be able to think fast on your feet and make changes when needed.
Education:
  • Bachelor in Chemical Engineering preferred/Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing degree required. 
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of Dietary Ingredients Protection Program (D.I.P.P.) and GMP.
