One of the top pork producers in the United States is seeking to continually improve their product offerings by attracting an experienced quality assurance professional with a solid background in Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance. The position is located at their corporate headquarters in Hatfield, PA.
To be considered for this role: - You must have a 4 yrs degree in Animal/Food Science or related degree and a minimum of 5 years in a Quality Assurance, Food Safety or Regulatory Compliance role in a food (ideally meat) processing environment.
- You must be knowledgeable in food manufacturing processes, GMP’s, Food Safety, SPC, Quality, HACCP, SSOP’s as well as the appropriate regulatory guidelines.
Food Safety Quality Assurance: You will use you background and experience to support, maintain and monitor all food safety, quality & regulatory programs along with HACCP, SSOP and Pre-requisite programs.
Supervision: You will also be responsible to hire, train, develop, mentor, review & discipline, schedule and assign work activities for all the Food Safety Quality Assurance Technicians. You will also initiate task teams to troubleshoot and develop sustainable action plans to resolve any Food Safety, Quality or Compliance issues.
