Grain Elevator Operations Foreman & Elevator Laborer Positions

We have MULTIPLE positions open at our grain terminals in central Illinois.
Elevator Laborer position does not require prior experience with grain.
We will train the right person all about grain handling, including receiving, storing, conditioning and shipping.
Operations Foreman position does require prior elevator operations knowledge
Operations Foreman position will provide work direction to others at the elevator site
Operations Foreman will assist with planning and forecasting
Knowledge of safety and conveyor operations a plus
Degree is a plus
For the foreman position you must have operations knowledge of the facility and the equipment that is used at the facility to store and move grain
Requirements:
Work outside in extreme weather conditions
Work in environment with high levels of grain dust
Able to walk/?stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time
Able to climb ladders of various heights- some as high as 60 feet
Able to work in confined /? tight spaces
Able to perform strenuous physical labor at times in excess of two hours.?
Able to pass drug screen
Able to pass thorough background check
Able to work overtime and weekends

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:
- Direct operations staff
- Assist with running the scale or whatever is needed during peak operations
- Assist with grain grading and handling during busy times
- Participate in general housekeeping duties
- Maintain relationships with current and potential customers
- Stay informed of current local and macro market situations
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must understand and follow company safety procedures
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights(up to 60 feet), bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 55 lbs unassisted
- Willing to work overtime and weekends during the season
-Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
-Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
